Biography

Andrés Sánchez was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico. He earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Guadalajara in 2019, where he later pursued an M.S. in the same program. In 2022, Andrés joined Texas Tech University as a Ph.D. student in Dr. Danny Reible's Research Group. His current research focuses on microplastics assessment in environmental matrices such as stormwater and biosolids, as well as trace metals analysis. Looking ahead, his work aims to explore passive sampling techniques and trace metal modeling approaches in biosolids.
