Biography

Melody Vachon-Gregory, M.Sc., is an environmental microbiologist at SiREM and has extensive technical experience in molecular genetic testing for soil, sediment and groundwater remediation and site characterization. She uses her expertise to perform molecular testing with a focus on next generation sequencing analysis and data interpretation. She completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology at the University of Guelph and a Master of Science degree at the University of Waterloo that focused on the microbiology of bentonite clay for use in Canada’s nuclear waste management.
